Atlanta night life has never been so exposed.
The show follows Purple Hippo Events and Entertainment LLC, headquartered in none other than Atlanta, Georgia. After first establishing themselves in 2018 with booming out-of-the-gate business, they took a major hit during COVID. Steadily they're growing back to their full potential now that it's been several years post. That being said, Atlanta is not for the faint at heart. With an abundance of scammers, questionable event regulation and exponential inflation, the company must stay afloat and maintain its reputation. On top of that, the interpersonal relationships between the staff deejays, wedding planners, catering and media make for their own challenges.

The Creators
Maiya Ceré (Writer/Director/Producer)
Maiya Ceré is the writer, director and producer of the TV series Booked. After graduating with a degree in screenwriting from the University of the Arts in Philly, Maiya moved to Atlanta where the culture shock from the night life and Atlanta inhabitants inspired several dark and thrilling short films and eventually Booked. Being a major fan of mockumentary style shows and dry humor for her own entertainment, it was a natural conclusion to look at the city of Atlanta through such a lens. Maiya went on to book strap the pilot episode and a series of mini episodes, which are in the final stages of post-production. Excited about the prospects of growing the team, Maiya and her loyal supporters forge forth to final reveal the fruits of their labor come 2025.
Dennis Gould (Director of Photography)
Dennis Gould is the director of photography for the show. Dennis graduated with a degree in film and has a gambit of projects under his belt from documentaries and political coverage to feature and short films across genres. His expertise has been critical to the manifestation of the show from behind the camera and otherwise.
